"Remy" finished 2002 as the Nation's #1 Akita, ALL SYSTEMS! He was awarded Best of Breed at the Westminster Kennel Club in February 2003. Also won the Akita Club of America Top 20 Competition in 2001 and 2002. Remy and Tuni were just awarded their 5th Best in Show June 1, 2003 at the Framingham District KC and his 6th Best in Show June 28th at the Hockamock KC. Remy is also the First and Only akita ever to win multiple Best in Shows in both the United States and Canada!Most recently, Remy and Tuni were awarded Best of Breed and GROUP 4 at the Westminster KC in February.

Cogs is Remy's younger brother. (Born September 11, 2002). He is named after Joe's cousin, Timothy Coughlin who was killed in the World Trade Center attack. Cog's completed his championship in less than 3 months from the 9-12 month class. His most recent accomplishment was to win Best of Breed at the Connecticut River Working Group show held in March 2004.
